They are here: the bioducks

I’m sure you have experienced before that feeling of desire and enthusiasm to do something you really want to do. Well, that’s the feeling I have right now. Although this is not the first time I talk to you about WOP, this time I do it with even more enthusiasm, due to the news that it entails. Let me explain.

The reason is none other than the event that WOP has organized as a “prelude” to the new estropatada; you are right, it is the one of the duck race along the Bilbao estuary.

You still don’t have your ducks? Let me tell you that in its first edition in 2013, more than 20,000 ducks were sold in a couple of days. So, if you want some, I will make it easy for youYou just have to contact me and tell me how many you want. Oh, I haven’t told you the most important thing:

This year, we will throw into the estuary the FIRST DUCKS IN THE WORLD made with plant-based materials: the BIODUCKS.

After using the plastic wopatos (wopducks) for 6 years (2013 to 2018) and 2 more years (2019 and 2020) using pineapples to reduce pollution, this year we have the bioducks. And, as it couldn’t be in any other way, they’ll rise to stardom on October 3rd, 2021 in Bilbao, of course.

Each duck is only 5 euros, with which you contribute minutes to research on rare neurodegenerative diseases. And every minute counts, I assure you.

This year, in addition, the estropatada is preceded by an exceptional event: the great team sports adventure (October 2nd and 3rd, 2021), called the WOP Challenge. In case you haven’t heard of it, I’ll tell you; well, no, I’d rather let you watch the following video because it will explain it much more clearly in less than a minute.

It is in Spanish, but I am sure you will get the idea, if not, ask me.

To register enter the following link and let’s run! Nature, challenge, beauty, sports, effort, adventure, solidarity, enjoyment… anything else? This really is an all-in-one.

Do you dare? Will I see you there? I’ll be between ducks and the WOP team, with their great E.P. who will be supporting you.

Thanks for reading this post and thanks for supporting WOP with a duck, running or however.
