Today I want to start this post with a very special dedication. On the one hand, to Irene, for being a child who has already started her life as a great warrior, and, on the other hand, to Lucia, her mom, because on Sunday it was her first birthday as a mom. Lucia, I know that, for many reasons, you won’t forget this experience. Once again, congratulations to the three of you. Now you get to enjoy it.
I’ve been wanting to write this post for a very long time, but today it is the best day for it. I present you Boo Studios. (more…)
In 2018, the UN named the 21st of April the World Creativity and Innovation Day in order to promote multidisciplinary creative thinking to help us achieve the sustainable future we have to get to.
I confess that I’m lucky (as I say, I have good luck), because I work in “something” I’m passionate about (anyone who knows me knows that). Part of my working time I work with the team of the Educational Innovation Unit of the University of Deusto. We work a lot, yes, but with a privileged atmosphere. Besides, we do it in the name of innovation, what else can we ask for?
The truth is that today I thought about them (if not, I was sure that Marta Roldán was going to remind me, as she has done). But I also remembered the importance of being an innovative person these days.
As you know, I work in the educational area, and today I thought it was relevant to think especially about the innovative and entrepreneurial teachers or teacherpreneurs, as I like to call them.
So, today, the creativity and innovation day, and because I feel like it, I want to dedicate this post to teachers and students. I invite you to watch a video of Joe Ruhl (awarded with different awards in the educational area). In it, he speaks about passion, choice, innovation, inspiration, motivation, collaboration, communication, critical thinking, creativity, listening, team, people, affection, care, 21st Century competencies, experience, change and intention. Oh, but, especially, thinking about the training of future students. Today, my clapping goes to them (teachers and students).
Would you like to watch it?
I hope you are okay, and I hope I can introduce you to an entrepreneur with a name and surname really soon. Take care of yourself and your people.
Today’s post is still related to COVID-19, simply because we can’t forget about it, at least for now. It’s true that the changes it created makes us not forget it, but let me remind you that most of us are privileged. We came to this situation in much better conditions than millions of people, some we know and some we don’t. So, please, let’s be positive.
In my case, I am thankful for having a place that allows me to move freely, technology resources that allow me and my family to work without having to “fight” for them, and, specially, because I have four people who I can talk to any time. That is a privilege.
So, today, the reflection and initiative I present you are related to this unexpected new “friend” that I personally would have liked not to meet. Oh, and in that way, I am still with the treasure hunt: the coronavirus game. (more…)
I assure you that this post isn’t the one I wanted to post today. The truth is that it’s not taking me too long to write it either, because I am discovering that the type of E.P. I defend is, in many other cases, a reality. Today I want to dedicate this post to everyone who, especially these days, is putting their imagination, innovation, creativity, solidarity, initiative and passion working at full capacity.
Today I want to dedicate this post in a special way to the students of the Primary Education Degree of the Bilbao campus of the University of Deusto, to my colleague and coordinator of the Primary Education degree, Miryam Martínez, who has supported and participated actively from the beginning in this project, and to my main teacherpreneur and “travel” companion Jessica Paños. 3 years ago, in 2017, all of them decided to take advantage of a GREAT OPPORTUNITY: to enter the TEACHERPRENEUR WORLD.
You’ve already heard me talk about this adventure more than once, but today this post, with the rest of my follower’s permission, is dedicated to them: Jessica, Miryam, Ainhoa (I and II), Jorge, Garazi, Alazne, Maider (I and II), María, Leire, Andrea, Ane, Paula, Unai, Nerea, Uxue and Héctor, who today becomes a Doctor.
