Entrepreneurs.. just because they deserve it.

Beatriz-LopezToday, with the permission of Beatriz López and EmakumeEkin, I will start this blog post naming them and two great entrepreneurs who I wasn’t able to enjoy live and direct the last 20th of May but, fortunately, I could do it thanks to Beatriz and EmakumeEkin. I am referring to Toti Martínez de Lezea and Mónica Carratalá. Their words and way of thinking, as well as the ones from other people who got the chance to “meet” them, allow me to insist again on the fact that an entrepreneur person is not only the one who starts a business but the one who also shares a way of living and an attitude that is traditionally of  an ENTREPRENEUR.logo-web-emakumeekin-formato-ancho (more…)

Carry out actions in order to go ahead

IMG_20150509_192906Thanks to my colleague David Lamiquiza week ago I found out an exhibition of “La Caixa” Foundation about “Héroes Ocultos” (Hidden Heroes) that I visited in the Doña Casilda de Iturrizar park in Bilbao. The itinerant exhibition “Héroes ocultos. Inventos geniales. Objetos cotidianos” (Hidden heroes.Great inventions. Daily objects) will be open until the 15th of June of 2015. It brings us closer to objects that even though they have been produced a million times, they are still essential nowadays. But, what are we talking about? Who came up with the idea of making them? What necessity did they cover? Why are they still essential nowadays? May we say that their existence is thanks to entrepreneur people? If you want to find it out, keep reading. (more…)

Among the big ones

Here I am again, a little bit late for different reasons, but, the most important thing is that I am back…and shortly with new things on the blog. You will discover them little by little. You could hace access to it just typing arantzaarruti.com,and about the rest, you will have to find it out by yourselves. Today I want to show you a couple of entrepreneurs, the first one is well known and I met the second one this last Easter in Barcelona, in the Ramblas; I hope you like his work too. Would you like to know who they are?

Shaping our entrepreneurial spirit and “starting up” new actions

The last week was rather difficult and tough in a personal level but also rewarding and, I want to think, positive. My health did not accompanied me and it led to lessen my spirit and motivation a little bit, but thanks to the support of my family (which is always there, in good and bad times), my true friends and the people who worry about me, they managed to make this week worthy. Besides, being able to participate actively in the DeustoSTART training program and in the Inspirexe 2015 day, and having visited the entrepreneurs that, while it was raining, shiwed us their creations in the Sunday Market, have contributed, without any doubt, to it.
