More than a decade ago, in countries like the USA, with New York in the lead, or the United Kingdom, with London as one of the mirror-cities to look to, people started talking about the pop-up shops. It was a fashion concept that started being successful among prestigious chefs, big designers or new entrepreneurs who wanted to put themselves and their creations out there. It was a time when this type of shops or spaces weren’t neither that extended nor known like they can be today. In fact, last week at least three of these pop-ups were held in Bilbao. From my tour around them I take some E.P. that I want to present you. I want to take this opportunity to introduce them to you, although I hope to talk about them more closely in future posts. A few years ago, when I wasn’t on a great moment of my life, one of my brothers in law gave me a book that, according to him, I was going to like because it was like the ones I usually like. He wasn’t wrong. In addition to giving me a gift, which I love, I must say that it was THE GIFT. A book full of STORIES, those where you want to be the protagonist. Well, the last thursday, the 26th of October, some of its protagonists came to Bilbao. They celebrated the 9th edition of the congress of the What Really Matters Foundation. (more…)

This week has been loaded with very good vibes, those you like because you realize Bilbao is full of entrepreneurial women who once had a dream worth fighting for. MENTORING IN MET COMMUNITY, BECAUSE “BY HELPING OTHERS YOU HELP YOURSELF”
Last Monday, 25th of September, at 6pm started the 3rd edition of the Met Community program in Bilbao in an incomparable setting, the University of Deusto. A day some of us were looking forward to and with some butterflies in our stomachs. There we were Antonio, Virginia, Irune and I.
This post has a double purpose: on the one hand, to make the launching of their third edition of the program known and, on the other hand, to thank the support of the group of mentors and mentees who have bet for MET Community this year by making some time off their agenda.
COORDINADAS
Welcome, once again, to this space about entrepreneurship and entrepreneurs where I go back to after summer holidays. A moment that has served me to, mainly, disconnect from almost everything and clarify my ideas, those that we think about more than we should. Now, I would be lying if I told you that I have put aside my entrepreneurship chip. I admit that it hasn’t been possible and that more than one E.P. has walked by me during this month of August.
I invite you to this new post-vacation post, which will help us as a starting point of a new course that I hope it is successful for E.P. and actions related to entrepreneurship.
