I am number 243

In September of 2016, 17 mentors, 11 schools and around 200 girls embarked on a pioneer project in Euskadi, one of those projects designed on a paper napkin and that holds fundamental values and ideas. Today, I bring you an entrepreneurial initiative of the educational area, which is born at the University of Deusto, guided by Andoni Eguiluz and Lorena Fernández, professor-researcher and Director of Digital Identity of the University of Deusto, respectively.

Do you know which project I’m talking about? I’ll give you a hint: inspire. (more…)

Do you know how much money you have now? What are you wasting it on? What are your banks charging you? Or just, how can you manage it better? Probably, if you had Fintonic you could answer these questions with just pressing a button.

If you’re interested, I’ll tell you that Pablo Luis Uriarte, former managing director and vice president of BBVA, Carina Szplika, former managing director of ING España, and Javier Marín, former managing director of Banco Santander, are just a few people who have decided to invest in Fintonic. If you want to know what is Fintonic, I encourage you to keep reading. You’ll discover the app for which the big powers of the financial world, banking and the investment are betting. Are you in? (more…)

EIPTE!

A couple of weeks ago I visited Lüneburg, Germany, an ideal place to celebrate a very special kick-off meeting. Finally, I was going to work on a topic that I’ve been defending for a long time and where I’ve been taking small steps. It would mean more work, yes, but the topic deserved a special toast.

Do you want to know why? Go on. (more…)

Last Thursday, the 16th of November, the Colegio Oficial de Ingenieros de Telecomunicación del País Vasco (the Official Association of Telecommunication Engineers of the Basque Country) started the celebration of the 50 years of the Association with an event at street level, none other than at the Zubiarte Shopping Centre, in Bilbao.

There I was to support them, mainly because I know “a little” their dean, Álvaro Ubierna, of whom I have told you before. For me, without any doubt, an E.P.

I have to admit that, the fact that the Official Association of Engineers was celebrating their anniversary in a space reserved for fashion supresied me. I have to tell you the night was getting better by the minute. Do you want to know what this type of event has to do with a blog about entrepreneurship? I encourage you to keep reading. (more…)
