If you like travelling and eating, you’ll fall into their clutches

The post I bring you today is dedicated to a person who is very special to me. I’m talking about someone I met a few years ago when she was studying Primary Education at the University of Deusto and I was one of her professors. She was a very hardworking, constant and committed student, by the way. Besides, I was “lucky” to be the tutor of her final degree about education and entrepreneurship, which she did with her colleague Jennifer Silveria. Her name is Jessica Paños-Castro. Today, she is a teacher in Primary Education and my fellow sufferer.

This is not the first time I’m talking about her, but it is the first time I’m talking about something different. If you keep reading, you’ll know her new facet. Do you want to? (more…)

The ZAWP terminal

I want to dedicate the last post of 2020 to, of course, the great protagonists of this blog who, as you know, are the E.P., their projects and their entrepreneurial initiatives. So today, with permission from the thousands of E.P. who exist around the world, I’m going to focus on some I “found”, met, discovered and reconnected with last Sunday the 20th of December 2020 (beautiful date, right?), in the ZAWP in Bilbao. Other national or international “zawp” will come, but today, finally, it’s Bilbao’s turn.

I encourage you to keep reading, I promise not to take too much of your time. (more…)

Fábrica de Valientes or how to improve the square meter we live in

Today’s post is about an entrepreneurial project and person who, honestly, I was eager to meet since a participant of the Ingenio and Ekin-IT entrepreneurship program told me about it a few years ago. I know that I should have done this a while ago, because I dare to say that I have found “one of my own”, one of those people with whom I believe I have so much in common and I consider would have been awesome to have known her before.

I want to dedicate this post with all my love, admiration and appreciation to a MORE THAN BRAVE colleague and friend who left us last Friday the 24th, her husband Sergio, and her children Iker and Amaia. Ainara, we still had some projects to do, but I promise that I will do everything I can to make some of our dreams a reality, even though it won’t be the same. This is for you. (more…)

BilbaoFormArte: where the disability becomes art and wins by a landslide.

I’ve owed you this post for more than a year and today, finally, and taking the advantage of the fact that this is the last one of this academic year, I think it’s one of the best moments to do so, like the end of “season”.

I invite you to know this project and some entrepreneurial women who, after many efforts, in 2013 launched BilbaoFormArte, a project that has something magical that engulfs you. (more…)
