imagin: “We are what we do”

Finally. It’s taken me long to come back, I know; it’s been a couple of hard months, with lots of work and little time to think and for myself, but I’m here. I was looking forward to returning to this space, because there are many E.P. and innovative and entrepreneurial projects out there.

Today I’m back with an innovative project which is not new but for some of you it might be.

Let me introduce you to it.

It’s the 2^nd edition of the imaginPlanet Challenge. If you’ve heard of it, that’s great, maybe we’ll see each other at the webinars (which already started on the 17^th of January 2022); but if not, you still have time to do so.

What is imaginPlanet Challenge about?

It’s a competition of ideas to save the planet, where you only need to be older than 18 and to create a team of 3 people, better if it is of different profiles. The organization will train you during 6 learning sessions or webinars with experts on entrepreneurship and sustainability. They stream their lessons on the imaginPlanet Challenge page and at @imaginers_app. In fact, if you can’t watch them live, don’t worry, because they will be recorded and uploaded to their page. The one from the 17^th is already up, by the way. The learning sessions will take place every first Monday of the month at 19:00 at ImaginCafé.

• 17^th of January: Initial event
• 7^th of February: Webinar 1^st phase. Inspiration
• 7^th of March: Webinar 2^nd phase. Ideation
• 4^th of April: Webinar 3^rd phase. Prototyping
• 2^nd of May: Webinar 4^th phase. Communication
• 6^th of June: Great Final with the best 10 teams
• From the 2^nd to the 16^th of July: Incubation of winning team in Silicon Valley
• Thursday 29^th of September: Closing event and DemoDay at imaginCafé

After 6 months of working, on the 6^th of June, the selected 10 best teams will present their projects of entrepreneurship and sustainability.

Oh, before I forget, the winning team will travel to Silicon Valley in California to transform their idea into a reality while they enjoy a couple of weeks of craziness, learning, good humor, compromise, visits and much more.

To sum up, 5 phases, 11 challenges (at least for the moment), 1 team of professionals who will follow the Lombard method, many ideas to save the planet and one team who will develop their entrepreneurial project about sustainability in greater depth in Silicon Valley.
