A couple of years ago, when I was posting something on my Instagram account, I discovered some very colorful and size XL jewels that, without any doubt, caught my attention. I liked them so much that it didn’t take me too long to click on her account and her web page, press the “like” button and do some research about who was behind them. That’s when I thought about writing a post about the E.P. that lead the brand which I’m going to talk about today and, of course, that’s also when I thought about having one (or more) of their pieces.

Do you want to know who I’m talking about? Keep reading, because I’m going to tell you. (more…)

The keys of a good leadership, also for entrepreneurs

In the school year of 1993-94, as soon as I finished the Pedagogy studies and I got a diploma in Education of Leisure, I applied for the Young Leaders Fellowship scholarship of the Ryoichi Sasakawa Foundation. The goal was to make a research project that allowed me to lay the foundation of what my future doctoral thesis would be while I started working at the Leisure Studies Institute of the University of Deusto, founded in 1988 in the heart of the then Faculty of Philosophy and Education Science. Then started a long journey that’s still going, which I’m very aware of, and that made me work today at the Faculty of Psychology and Education of the University of Deusto, developing at least two of my biggest passions: teaching, with everything that implies; and the promotion of entrepreneurship, the entrepreneurial person – especially the teacherpreneur – and their training.

Do not worried, today’s post is not about my story, it is about leadership. Do you want to keep reading? You don’t? Then you’ll miss something; you do? Keep reading. (more…)

Teacherpreneurs in Sundsvall

An intensive week to delve a little bit more into the entrepreneurial education and learning new methodologies and ways of being more teacherpreneurs. That’s what 13 people of the Primary Education degree of the Psychology and Education Faculty of the University of Deusto have been doing during the past week (from the 21st to the 25th of October) at the Mid Sweden University in Sundsvall (Sweden).

Do you want to know a little bit more about this experience? Keep reading because I’m going to tell you. (more…)

GAPTAIN launches Segureskola

Some months ago, Cristina Sal Salvador del Valle, who is responsible for the social impact at the BBK Foundation and is my fellow sufferer in this thing called entrepreneurship, got in touch with me to see if I could make an ad hoc mentoring session for a project in education to strengthen certain issues.  You can imagine that it didn’t take too long for me to say yes, of course. The day chosen for the mentoring, the 4th of June 2019, which, by the way, is a very important date for me, started this adventure. Roberto Álvarez was there, the founder and CEO of a company that “soon” would become an ally in the great adventure that is entrepreneurship, education and digital competence.

Here starts today’s post that, honestly, gives me good feelings and memories, and makes me want to join forces to do my small part in a topic that worries me more every day. I encourage you to know Gaptain.

I’M HERE

Where am I? Sometimes I don’t even know. This year has started in such a hurry that it was already the middle of September when I realized I still hadn’t written the post that starts this new era. The point is that, sometimes, life doesn’t adapt to your plans and you have to be veeeery flexible, more than what you’d like. That’s what happened to me: I had to re-prioritize. But here I am, looking forward to writing about one of the topics that I like most and which I’m very excited about. I don’t have to tell you which one it is, right? (more…)
