Fábrica de Valientes or how to improve the square meter we live in

Today’s post is about an entrepreneurial project and person who, honestly, I was eager to meet since a participant of the Ingenio and Ekin-IT entrepreneurship program told me about it a few years ago. I know that I should have done this a while ago, because I dare to say that I have found “one of my own”, one of those people with whom I believe I have so much in common and I consider would have been awesome to have known her before.

I want to dedicate this post with all my love, admiration and appreciation to a MORE THAN BRAVE colleague and friend who left us last Friday the 24th, her husband Sergio, and her children Iker and Amaia. Ainara, we still had some projects to do, but I promise that I will do everything I can to make some of our dreams a reality, even though it won’t be the same. This is for you. (more…)

papiroga

A couple of years ago, when I was posting something on my Instagram account, I discovered some very colorful and size XL jewels that, without any doubt, caught my attention. I liked them so much that it didn’t take me too long to click on her account and her web page, press the “like” button and do some research about who was behind them. Do you want to know who I’m talking about? Keep reading, because I’m going to tell you. (more…)

The elastic generation

the elastic generation or flat society. (more…)

IZANSDANCE

Some days ago, searching for new initiatives related to entrepreneurship and culture, a series of videos of a woman caught my eye. Her name is María, she is from Málaga, she is an entrepreneur and has very clear ideas. One of her achievements has been creating a dance school with its own methodology: IZANSDANCE.

Many consider it a pioneering dance school in Andalusia. Directed by María Sánchez Izquierdo, IZANSDANCE is a dance academy that rose up at the end of 2010 and that combines many disciplines connected to the world of dance: children’s dance, contemporary dance, ballet, belly dancing, jazz, dance therapy, yoga, pilates, stretching and dancegym, in addition to many activities, courses and resources you can find on it. I am a woman in search of meaning

These Easter holidays have been very special for me for many reasons. The truth is that I needed to rest and take a lot of strength and energy after a tough semester and, above all, after some weeks loaded with so much work (more than I expected), unexpected emotions (those that I personally don’t like) and exciting and irresistible projects, such as EIPTE or the organization of the VIII University Day of the Innovation and Quality. All this, together with the day to day, have made the beginning of the year harder than I thought, so, this time has been good for me to relax, think, re-think and make decisions. (more…)
