I am writing this post from Manresa, specifically from The Cave of Saint Ignatius Ignacio , a special place for Jesuits and for those of us who share their values. When I was coming to Manresa on Sunday with my colleagues, while we were talking, a project was mentioned. It is not new but it catched my attention. Let me tell you about it. (more…)

BBF
A few weeks ago, on 28 February, I received an invitation to take part in a participatory meeting at Bilbao Berrikuntza Faktoria (BBF). The message was clear: I was invited as a key agent of innovation to, together with other people, promote the innovative ecosystem of Bizkaia. The idea was to bring together “a fundamental part of the current innovation network and the inhabitants of the BBF to understand how to take care of this ecosystem that gives us life and decide what steps we can take together”. Of course, I went there, after all, it is “my topic” and if I could contribute something, it was one of those moments I couldn’t miss. (more…)
Teacherpreneurs in Sundsvall
An intensive week to delve a little bit more into the entrepreneurial education and learning new methodologies and ways of being more teacherpreneurs. That’s what 13 people of the Primary Education degree of the Psychology and Education Faculty of the University of Deusto have been doing during the past week (from the 21st to the 25th of October) at the Mid Sweden University in Sundsvall (Sweden).
Do you want to know a little bit more about this experience? Keep reading because I’m going to tell you. (more…)
FIRST LEGO League Euskadi: 10 years of constant evolution
Today I move this week’s post forward to talk, once again (and it won’t be the last one), about the new qualifying tournament of the FIRST LEGO League Euskadi 2018/2019. On the 16th of February many people will meet again at the Europa Palace (Vitoria-Gasteiz), at least 1200 (and that’s only the first ones), to celebrate an event that students between the ages of 6 and 16 from more than 40 schools in Bizkaia, Gipuzkoa and Álava have been preparing since last September. Nerves, desire, illusion, entertainment, fellowship and excitement are present more than ever in a day where the protagonists are the students who show that a challenge is just that, a challenge that we have to face. They make that very clear in their presentations, both of the scientific project and the values as well as during the missions carried out with the robot they have programmed with dedication during months.
It’s an event that the Basque agency of innovation Innobasque-Agencia Vasca de Innovación has been organizing for 10 years; yes, you’ve read that right, 10 are the years we’ve been celebrating this event in which many anonymous people trust. A real achievement for a training program for children and young people from Euskadi who every year show us that the future can be in very good hands.
I encourage you again to take part in the tournament, which in part is carried out by the more than 200 volunteers who mobilize so the event can be a success. To sign up you just have to enter the following link. You are still in time to participate.
Enter the following link; I encourage you to investigate the canvas that will open through the links.
Keep enjoying this incredible experience based on challenges where, thanks to the group learning, children and young people learn essential values for their personal and professional development.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY! We’ll go on for 10 more years or for as long as it’s needed.
I am an #flleuskadi volunteer.
Enjoy the day. By the way, will we see each other on Saturday?

BIGEL, change and transformation
Today I would like to introduce you the protagonists of today’s post, 7 young people who are here to stay in the entrepreneurship world, in a different way. They started their adventure in 2013 while they started the degree in Leadership, Entrepreneurship and Innovation (LEINN) and since that moment they have been experimenting in the real world, learning along the way, they made some mistakes but, above all, with passion, enthusiasm and a lot of effort and work. Like them, I also wanted to enforce a new way of informing through Canva. Here you have BIGEL.
“Creativity is inventing, experimenting, growing, taking risks, breaking the rules, making mistakes and having fun” (Mary Lou Cook)
Thank you, especially to Lander, Antonio and Angela for sharing a good time, good dreams, projects and looks of the future.
I’m sure that we’ll meet again, there’s still so much to do in the education and entrepreneurship world.
Good week to everyone.
