Here I am. Another year, it’s been quite a few! This time I start the school year with an event that, apart from being very interesting, it’s important and necessary. It comes from an entrepreneur whom I had the pleasure to meet a few years ago. As soon as she sent me the information, it was clear to me that I had to share it with you. (more…)
Today’s post was not this one, but I admit that, by chance, while I was looking for information for “the post I was writing”, I came across a video that I liked. It could not be otherwise, I confess. I have a special affection for Ashoka. The video I am sharing with you today seems very clear and direct.
What do I like about this video? Above all, I like the fact that Maite Arango y Alexandra Mitjans, two women from different generations of Ashoka, talk about social entrepreneurship. Among the keywords of their conversation, I share with you the following:
- Collaboration (intergenerational, institutional, organizational, corporate, global, international, etc.)
¿What is your main option? Difficult, right?
Thanks, Ashoka, for your daily work.
I will be back in two weeks. Enjoy June.
This past weekend (March 5-7, 2021) a special market was held to celebrate the 8th of March (La Bernarda, urban festival). Although my idea was to go on Saturday, it was not possible for me to visit so many E.P. that I knew were getting together at Zawp until Sunday. I think that it is wonderful to surround yourself with people with so much art and, especially, to feel loved by them.
Today, apart from introducing to you a few of them, I’m going to focus a little more on some of them, of which I have not yet spoken to you in detail. Would you like to know about these entrepreneurial women? Go ahead.
We met in her workshop, part of her own house, and we were there for a while.
I couldn’t believe the conversation that took place in that space! Both unexpected and natural. And it’s that today’s protagonist “didn’t hold back” at talking to me. I am not going to tell you everything she told me, because that stays between us, or at least that’s what I understood.
The thing is that a few days ago, I met Miren or Kekelis, because it makes no difference, they are one and the same. Do you want to know who I’m talking about? You just have to keep reading.
Effort, perseverance and continuous work together with patience and insistence are, in my opinion, some of the characteristics that especially define the entrepreneurial person. Personally, I firmly believe that the E.P. has to have those characteristics very developed, maybe more than the people who don’t stand out for having an entrepreneurial spirit, and even more than those who don’t think of entrepreneurship as their personal and professional way of living.
Today I want to dedicate this post to the E.P. who, with their effort, keep showing us that, except a few cases, effort is everything you need to achieve your success, or in other words:
The progressive realization of your dream.. (more…)
