Tell me more. Vertellis

A few months ago, I saw a product on Instagram that I really liked. The first thing it reminded me of was the product and philosophy of the entrepreneurs you know I admire: kietoparao; so, as you can imagine, this post is related to the use and abuse of technologies, or it isn’t? Wait a moment, I should say that this post is related to people, communication, enjoyment and human relationships instead of technologies.

In 2016, three Dutch friends around their 30s, Lars, Bart and Liz, inspired by the fast rhythm of our lives and our constant addiction to being online, they decided to create their own company “looking forward to having an impact on society”. Thanks to a crowdfunding campaign they were able to launch their brand, which today is known as Vertellis.

They were thrilled (illusioned and eagered), they had the desire of making the world a better place and they had a great advantage, believing 100% on their idea. The market agreed and is still doing it.

Nowadays, the team consists of more than 31 people, because more people from more than 6 countries have joined Lars, Bart and Liz. All of them share the passion for the continuous personal development, being the complete care, communication and authentic connection their seals of identity.

I’m sure that some of you are wondering about Vertellis. Let me explain:

Designed and made in The Netherlands with quality material obtained from the most sustainable and responsible way possible, Vertellis, which in Dutch means tell me more, is a simple, fun and deep card game where THE QUESTION is the protagonist. Each question, which has been carefully formulated and tested to ensure that it produces the correct emotions and thoughts, leads you to enjoy meaningful conversations.

Vertellis’s vision (and motivation) is to spread their philosophy and their products further than The Netherlands with the goal of offering the opportunity to experience great moments with family and friends. For that, their mission is: to help people get closer, to promote the “offline” time and to help people make their dreams come true.

help people get closer, to promote the “offline” time and to help people make their dreams come true.

All of that in a moment that technology plays a very big part in our lives and in the relationships with our family and friends. Vertellis wants to facilitate meaningful and real conversations, and to encourage time offline, focusing on what surrounds us, today and now.

Their dream and goal for this year is no other than:

to inspire 1 million people to disconnect from their screens and to start investing time in improving human relationships.

As you can see, Vertellis goes further than a card game, it looks for “something else”.

Enjoy the month of November. Will you play cards with me?
